The information of currently active Dimension and Timeline
Dimensions are part of the progression of the game. Each new Dimension determines the difficulty of the general gameplay loop. The information of currently active Dimension and alternate Timeline can be seen on the top of the main screen.
When starting the game for the first time, it defaults to "Dimension 1", which is hidden until players make their first ascension.
Dimension Characteristics[]
Each increasing Dimension modifies certain parameters listed below:
- The general difficulty of enemies, which includes enemy Level, HP, Speed, and Attacks.
- The rewards earned by defeating regular enemies and area bosses, which includes Gold, Experience, Time Mana, and Wizard Power XP.
- The levels needed to clear areas. A new Dimension adds +3 level for each area. For example, the Figaro Forest has 10 area levels in Dimension 1, then it has 13 area levels in Dimension 2, and so on.
- Starting from Dimension 2, all "mini boss" n-10 encounters have a chance to "shine". A "shiny" enemy grants a certain amount of Time Mana.
- Clearing a new dimension grants players with 3 Ascension Tokens and 1 Dimension Orbs.
Dimensions do not change:
- The amount of Gems earned by bosses of each area.
- Item's general drop rate, rarity, and quality.
- The quality of item rewards obtained in some alternate timelines.
- The amount of Event Materials earned during certain seasonal events.
Ascension[]

The Ascension process can be performed by accessing the Dimensional Gate (also known as Dimensional Portal) is made available after clearing all areas for the first time. Players can use this option to to ascend to the next or previous Dimensions.
- Return to Dimension option allows player to ascend to any previously completed Dimension at will.
- Step into the Gate option allows player to ascend to one Dimension above the currently active Dimension.
Attempting to ascend to the highest Dimension reached will prompt a battle against the Dimensional Wizard. Players must defeat him first to unlock the ascension option (click ascend first to fight the boss, click ascend once again to enter the new Dimension).
Like Time Warp, ascension removes any non-eternal items. Ascension will also let players to claim any amount of Ascension Tokens that are previously under parenthesis.
Dimension Completion Rewards[]
Dimension Completion Rewards are earned by defeating the boss of The Outer Worlds area in specific dimension. The rewards can only be claimed once per game, meaning only one copy of said item is allowed. Players must be careful to keep the items from being accidentally sold. Players can revisit the previously cleared dimensions if they haven't claimed the rewards before. Dimension Completion Rewards consist of "upgraded" passive skillgem variants of existing heroes and some special equipment.
Defeating the boss of The Outer Worlds area in Dimensions outside of the ones mentioned below will grant players with rotating rewards which consist of Tablet of Ascension (at gradually increased Tier, maximum Tier 6) and Iron Ingot upgrades.
