The Weekly Challenge interface as of v0.11 update
Weekly Challenge has suspended adding new challenges as of week 100, past weekly challenges can still be found in the Dimensional Portal. Weekly Challenge (and Hero Facet since the patch) sends players to a new game mode, separated from their main game progress, dubbed as Omniversal.
General Mechanics[]
Omniversal mode essentially functions like staring a New Game with most of the main game progress do not carry over. The only things carry over between both modes are: Gems, unlocked Wizard Power Spells and Levels, unlocked Hero Facet perks, Omiversal Stat Bonus, and Omniversal items. In the Omniversal mode, all Time Mana-based statues are available from the start at Level 0. All Heroes Recruitment Buildings players have currently unlocked are also available from the start at level 1, but heroes available to choose within the Omni Verse world still depends on the recruitment building levels.
The battle in Weekly Challenge
Weekly Challenge usually starts with a predetermined party that cannot be replaced, locking some or all party slots in the process. The starting team may includes heroes that players have not yet unlocked. It also start with a small multiplier or penalty to Gold and XP gain, as well as a small amount of Time Mana available from the start, that only applies to the currently active challenge.
Players can return to the main game mode by clicking the Dimensional Portal at the bottom of the Statue, and choosing "Return to Your Universe" option, suspending their current weekly challenge run in the process. They can return back to the challenge mode by choosing "Return to Alternate Universe" option, assuming they have unlocked access to the Dimensional Portal in the main game. However, choosing Time Warp, Hero Facet, or a new Weekly Challenge will remove the currently suspended weekly challenge progress.
An item with Omniversal tag
Completing a Weekly Challenge run will grant players with possible rewards listed below:
- Omniversal bonus to specific stats or resource gain that applies to all game modes. Players can check the total of Omniversal bonus earned in the Stats/Achievement menu.
- Some challenge may offer a unique item with Omniversal tag. An Omniversal item can be used for the subsequent Omni Verse game modes (Hero Facet and Weekly Challenge), but it cannot be upgraded and modified.
- Challenge with a unique item reward also unlocks the pool to drop said item in the normal game. Starting from v0.11.158 update, all Weekly Challenge items can be found only in Otherworldly Relics alternate timeline.
- Some challenge may also offer a unique Hero or Timeline.
Past Challenges[]
Past Challenges
Players are given an access to past weekly challenges, by unlocking the feature in the Dimensional Portal at the cost of 3 Dimension Orbs.
